I'm going to rave about one of my absolute favorite venues - The Historic Robertson Homestead! I recently had the pleasure of capturing Jessica and Hansen's elegant fall wedding there, and let me tell you, it was just perfection. The weather, the colors, the environment, everything was picture-perfect! Jessica and Hansen had chosen the most beautiful fall palette for their wedding. The warm colors of the leaves on the trees at the homestead complemented it so well! They shared their private vows on the patio, an emotional moment that brought them both to tears, and Hansen's reaction to seeing Jessica walk down the aisle was one for the books.

Jessica & Hansen's Elegant Fall Wedding in North Carolina

The venue itself was the perfect backdrop. The charming historic home where Jessica and Hansen got ready, the tree garden that overlooked a creek for their ceremony, and the barn that hosted their reception - it was as if the venue was custom-made for this couple! The decor was another highlight. Elegant, with pops of warm fall colors and textures, it matched perfectly with the venue. And the wedding party and guests? They were a blast! It was evident that this was not just two people getting married; it was two families coming together. And it was beautiful to see!

The venue was incredibly accommodating. They had a beautiful space for Jessica and Hansen (and their friends) to get ready, a gorgeous sitting area, sunroom, and patio for everyone to relax on as they prepared for the day. The ceremony took place just outside of the home in the middle of a massive tree garden, facing towards a creek. It was absolutely breathtaking! The barn was the perfect space for the reception - plenty of room for dancing, but also decorated with gorgeous place settings and centerpieces, keeping with the fall theme.

Now, let's talk about the venue owners, Sarah and Cliff. They are some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. Not only do they maintain their venue impeccably, but they also go out of their way to form genuine relationships with their clients and the vendors they work with. They make sure we have everything we need, from places to rest to areas to store our things. And the best part? My brother is getting married there this year! So, I can know from both a vendor and a client perspective - they truly go above and beyond to serve their couples!
